Hood Scoops Ice Cream Shop - Classic Wisconsin Ice Cream with a Vintage Shell Station Vibe in Stoddard, WI

Delicious ice cream off the beaten path. They don't make it there but it is Wisconsin made and delicious. Honestly the cone was too big for me. A single scoop is like 3 scoops. Had the "stuff hits the fan". It was very good, rich and a little thick. Next time I get this brand of ice cream I'll try the banana split one. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Interesting decor with plenty of seating inside and out

This shop is an original Shell station from way back, imagine the classic cars and motorcycles that have rolled through here over the years! The shops owner has maintained the service station theme with lots of interesting memorabilia. Great ice-cream also and a must stop along the Great River Road.

The girls were very friendly & the ice-cream is the BEST! Reminds me of when I was little because of the old mechanic shop feel, just like my Dad's business growing up.

Great ice cream for a hot summer day in Stoddard, a pretty little town along Mississippi River. The ice cream I had was really delicious. It’s one of staff’s favorite flavor.

Good ice cream! Have to get the waffle cone. A little pricey for what you get at $5-6. Good selection of flavors that alternates. Every time I go there is different selection. Plus the beautiful drive down the river road.

Old fashioned ice cream shop. Cool theme, including automotive tools embedded in the cement floor. Employee was very friendly, polite and quick. Would definitely go back!!
